Thursday is here, so it’s time for some more Nintendo downloads to come your way. Coming to the Wii U eShop this week is the classic arcade beat em’ up The Legend of the Mystical Ninja. If you haven’t heard of the Goemon series before, this is a great entry point, especially since it has two player co-op. Get it now for only $7.99, or if you already have it on your Wii (like me) you will probably be upgrading it to Wii U for $1.50.
Over on the 3DS Virtual Console this week is Donkey Kong 3. Although it is a part of the Donkey Kong series, this entry plays more like a shoot em’ up than a puzzle platformer. Still, it looks interesting, and can be yours for only $4.99!
If you don’t feel like playing Donkey Kong 3 on your 3DS, then you’re in luck, because three different Donkey Kong games are on sale on the Wii U eShop. Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., and Donkey Kong 3 are on all sale for $3.49 (normally $4.99) until the December 12. Get your fill of classic platformers for just over $10!
Over on the 3DS eShop you can get two more of Sega’s 3D classics, and this week includes one of the most classic Sega games of all. 3D Sonic the Hedgehog and 3D Altered Beast both debut this week for $5.99 a piece. It still blows my mind (a little) to see these Sonic games come to Nintendo time and time again, but if you are a fan of the series, the 3D effects give a reason to play the game again. Also new is Brilliant Hamsters!, a pet simulation game that has you taking care of hamsters, dressing them up, and even using AR cards to view them. If you are a pet enthusiast, grab it now for $9.99. On the retail front in the movie tie in game Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, available now for $29.99.
The final download of the week is a DSi game, Hooked on Bass Fishing. The fishing game library on the DS continues to grow, and this title can be yours for just 500 Nintendo Points!

I hope this is an indication that the N64 Goemon titles will make their way to the eShop. Last year, my college roommate would play them once in a while, and they piqued my interest enough give them a shot.
