Along with a nifty Triforce clock, Tecmo Koei’s upcoming Legend of Zelda spinoff, Hyrule Warriors, will also be receiving a handful of bonus costumes when it launches in Japan later this summer, including ones based on The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
Fans who purchase the standard edition of Hyrule Warriors, which comes with a download code for a set of three “Courage” costumes, will receive a new outfit for Link inspired by the one he wore in Twilight Princess. Meanwhile, those who purchase the Premium Box, which includes a set of “Wisdom” costumes (along with the aforementioned Courage set), will receive Princess Zelda’s Twilight Princess attire. The Treasure Box will feature both Courage and Wisdom costume sets, along with two “Power” costumes.
No add-on content has yet to be announced for regions outside of Japan, but given how prevalent costume DLC has been for the Dynasty Warriors series, it seems inevitable. Hyrule Warriors launches in Japan on August 14 and in North America on September 26.
What do you think of the Twilight Princess-themed costumes? Would you like to see more costumes based on previous Zelda titles? Let us know in the comments!

Tell you one thing, I’m not using Link’s default because he does not look good in a scarf. If only the Wii were in HD back then, Twilight Princess would’ve been twice as beautiful.
I’ve been hoping for HD remakes of Twilight Princess and Skyward. Fingers crossed…
