It’s easy to forget, what with the ballooning roster of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS, that there’s more than just characters to look forward to in the latest installment of Nintendo’s fighter franchise. Besides new brawlers, Sakurai and company are also bringing along a bevy of skins for players to choose from, too. In a recent update on the Smash Bros. Miiverse thread, Sakurai unveiled a new look for Link ripped straight from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword!
Though Sakurai points out that it’s not a full redesign of his stock look in the game (you can see that it’s simply been colored to look like his Skyward clothing), they sure did get close to the real thing. There was also a post showing Rosalina in a new stage based on Pac-Man’s universe: Pac-Land! As much as has been revealed about Smash Bros., which are quickly marching along to their release this fall and winter, it becomes clear with posts like these that there is a metric ton of information still waiting to be discovered!
