Many people were confused when Bayonetta, a series that started on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, had a Nintendo exclusive sequel on Wii U. But despite all the backlash from fans who refuse to buy a Wii U, the developers seem pretty content with working for Nintendo and may continue to make the series a Nintendo exclusive in the future.
In an interview with CVG, director Yusuke Hashimoto said that he would love to make another Bayonetta game with Nintendo. He explained that the partnership with Nintendo has helped the team create what they originally envisioned for the series and release a higher quality product:
Should the opportunity arise I’d definitely like to keep nurturing this franchise. In terms of nurturing the content of this game, there’s a lot that we learned from Nintendo and if possible we would love to do it again and keep nurturing our child.
We started out with a fundamental freedom, with Nintendo telling us to go and create the game as we saw fit. But as the game started to take shape and we were starting to put all the pieces together, they were able to point out some things that we didn’t realize ourselves. That was really helpful for us.

I don’t know the game but I’m sure to buy it Day one, if it’s a real bomb, I would be happy that it will be a Wii-U exclusive for special content and the Gamepad’s features
The more non-shovelware exclusives the better. Period.
