At the end of today’s Nintendo Direct broadcast, Nintendo announced that The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, the upcoming 3DS remake of the classic Nintendo 64 title, will be releasing in North America on February 13.
Majora’s Mask follows Link’s journey through the land of Termina, a strange world in danger of being obliterated by a falling moon. Players will have three days to halt the moon’s descent; should they fail to stop it in that amount of time, they’ll need to rewind the clock to the first day and relive the cycle. The 3DS remake features improved visuals and a handful of other tweaks to make the experience more accessible to newcomers and those who may not have been able to finish the original title.
Launching alongside Majora’s Mask 3D on February 13 will be a special Majora’s Mask-themed New 3DS XL. The handheld features a golden top cover with the Majora’s Mask emblazoned on the center.
As an added bonus, fans who pre-order Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. from a participating GameStop store will receive a Majora’s Mask pin on the day of pickup.

My only real beef with this game is how cryptic the side quests can be, and to be honest I never really liked being rushed to finish dungeons under a time limit.
Between Majora’s Mask and Monster Hunter, February is suddenly looking like an awesome month for gaming…
