Puzzle & Dragons Z Still Being Localized for 3DS

Hot off the Mario crossover, GungHo confirms the previously announced puzzler is still coming

In the fallout of the sudden reveal that popular mobile game Puzzle & Dragons was getting a crossover with Super Mario, series developer GungHo reiterates that another game in the franchise– Puzzle & Dragons Z— will still be hitting Western shores.

P&D Z (best abbreviation ever) is a version of the puzzler with added RPG elements, such as NPCs and towns. It was released in Japan in 2014, and a Western release was planned… and then the Mario announcement came. Wondering if the plumber’s appearance would make Puzzle & Dragons Z a lower priority, fans reached out to GungHo on Twitter:

@Emolyptic actually P&D Z was officially announced for a western release by our company president – no details at this time, but stay tuned!
