Beloved Metroid Prime and Donkey Kong Country Returns developer Retro Studios has finally made its way to Twitter! While the account is not officially verified at the time of writing, members of the Metroid fan community Shinesparkers have reached out to developers at the company and have verified its legitimacy.

The first tweet, shown above, is causing a lot of fans to rampantly speculate about the existence of a hidden message that’s hinting toward a new game. Even if that isn’t the case, I’d wager that we’ll see something announced on this account very soon. After all, we still don’t know what Retro Studios is working on!
