In just a few short days, many gamers are sure to find Super Mario 3D World tucked beneath the Christmas Tree. While Mario’s latest outing is great for single-players, one of the highlights of the title is the strong multiplayer experience. Unfortunately, getting enough Wii Remotes together can be a costly venture. Well, as always, Nintendo seems to have another option for the budget conscious. That’s because Nintendo’s online store is offering refurbished Wii Remote Plus and Nunchuk pairings for a discount price of $20.
While the discount is only $10 cheaper than normal for refurbished pairings, it’s still about $40 cheaper than buying them individually in stores. The pairings come in White, Black, and Blue. Buyers should expect some wear and tear on the items, but all items are in guaranteed working order and even include the Wii Remote jacket.

So tempted by this deal… $20 for the combo is an awesome price, even if the whole “refurbished” label scares me a bit. My favorite detail: the option to get a blue set, since all our remotes now are white/black.
