Two weeks ahead of its North American launch, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have released a new trailer for Pokémon Bank, the subscription-based cloud service for Pokémon X and Y. With the service, players can store up to 3,000 of their pocket monsters in a special online box, allowing them to transfer Pokémon between titles much more easily than in the past.

The new trailer gives fans a closer look at the service in action, highlighting its interface and some of the filtering options they’ll have when they want to sort through their stored Pokémon. The trailer also provides another look at the Poké Transporter, a sister app that allows players to transfer critters from all fifth generation Pokémon titles (Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2) directly to Pokémon Bank. Check it out below:

Pokémon Bank launches in Europe and North America on December 27, and will cost $4.99 a year to use. 3DS owners who download the service before January 31 will receive a free 30-day trial.

Will you be downloading Pokémon Bank when it launches later this month? Let us know in the comments!
