In case the news passed you up, Fire Emblem: Awakening is kind of awesome. What’s even better is the DLC that Nintendo has lined up for the game– some of which is already live on the eShop.
Right now, the first DLC, entitled Champions of Yore 1, is up for download for the price of $0. Yep, that’s right, it’s free until March 5. The second and third pieces of downloadable, add-on goodness are also currently available, but will cost you a few bucks. The Champions of Yore 2 content can be snatched up for $2.50, while the Champions Pack can be purchased for $4, and includes Champions of Yore 1, 2, and 3. No, you didn’t read that wrong; as of now, Champions of Yore 3 is not available for individual purchase, and cannot be played either, despite being included in the $4 package. No word yet on what that’s all about. Stay tuned for an update as it comes down the pipe.
