For those of you who like free stuff along with your video games, be prepared for the fun extra that GameStop is giving you with the purchase of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD.
The video game retailer is offering a Ganondorf figurine bundled with the upcoming remake. The figure stands at 5″ and comes encased in a box along with the game. The normal cost for the game, which will be released for the Wii U, runs at about $49.99, but if you decide to get the figurine, it will cost only $10 extra, which would be $59.99. So for those of you who like figures, whether for collecting, playing, or decorating your cubicle at work, it’s well worth it.
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD hits shelves on October 4, so be sure to mark your calendars– or at least get your preorders in!

Preordered 2!
For the statue alone, that’s probably a worthwhile investment. I still am torn about getting the game in general. Yeah it’s HD, but I’ve got a lot of other games to buy that I haven’t played yet. I’ll probably wait for a sale (no pun intended…ok, yes it was!)
No longer available for pre-order via Gamestop’s website. And some stores are reporting they’ve already hit their allotment.
They sometimes reopen them as it gets closer, but I’d recommend trying to get to your stores as soon as possible.
I pre-ordered mine on Aug. 27th (first at my local store) but won’t be picking it up till the afternoon on Oct 4th.
It had better be waiting.
