According to the official Bravely Default Twitter account, the Western version of Square Enix’s 3DS RPG (known in Europe now as Bravely Default: Where the Fairy Flies) will be based on the expanded For the Sequel edition.

For those unfamiliar with this version, Bravely Default: For the Sequel is an updated release of the original game, featuring a handful of notable tweaks and improvements, including new content, an auto-battle feature, redrawn town maps, and more. All of these features will be included in the European and North American versions of the game, along with the ability to choose between English and Japanese sound.

Bravely Default will be released in Europe later this year. The game will arrive in North America sometime in 2014.
