3. Resident Evil
Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes wasn’t the only PlayStation classic to receive a GameCube update. In 2002, Capcom gave GameCube a remake of the original Resident Evil game. The resulting title was a masterpiece, taking away the cheesiness of the original game, and delivering an experience that lived up to the concept of survival horror. Updated voice acting, music, and visuals made this game less of a remake, and more of a brand-new experience.
Since the release of the Resident Evil remake, the franchise has become a staple on Nintendo consoles. Most recently, Resident Evil: Revelations appeared on 3DS and Wii U, giving fans yet another dose of the survival horror gameplay that they love.
