7. Skies of Arcadia Legends
Skies of Arcadia Legends is an enhanced port of one of the Sega Dreamcast’s finest titles. Legends improved on the original graphics, adjusted the game’s frequent enemy encounters, and added all-new content. The result is one of the best RPGs on GameCube, if not one of the best to ever land on a Nintendo console. With an endearing cast, and a world full of air-ship battles, and tons of historical references, Skies of Arcadia Legends helped fill the system’s RPG void.
Skies of Arcadia has never been blessed with a sequel, but the game’s legacy hasn’t been forgotten. The title’s main character Vyse has made a handful of other appearances since, most notably in Wii U launch title Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed.
