We already know what a fantastic year 2013 proved to be for 3DS, but its 2014 lineup doesn’t look too bad either, with both Bravely Default and Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy making their North American debut in February. We now have one more title to look forward to during first part of the year, as Nintendo has announced that the next installment in the Yoshi series, Yoshi’s New Island, will be launching in North America on March 14.
Yoshi’s New Island is being produced by longtime Nintendo designer Takashi Tezuka, who served as the creative director for the original Yoshi’s Island on SNES. Development is being handled by Arzest, a fairly new studio formed by several “key members” from Artoon (the developer of Yoshi’s Island DS and Yoshi Topsy-Turvy).
