This week in the world of Nintendo downloads, the 3DS eShop has a release from one of Nintendo’s more obscure series. Chibi-Robo! Photo Finder is available starting today for $9.99. The game uses the 3DS cameras to capture pictures of everyday objects which come to life in the game.
Also launching alongside the mini robot is Gradius, Konami’s classic space shooter. It’s now on the Wii U Virtual Console, so laser enthusiasts can get that starship action going on the GamePad.
Finally, you can pick up some older 3DS eShop games at a discounted price for the next couple weeks or so! The following titles are all on sale:
- Aqua Moto Racing 3D (25% off until Jan. 23)
- Darts Up 3D (50% off until Jan. 30)
- Code of Princess (30% from Jan. 13 to 20)
- Etrian Odyssey IV: Legend of the Titan (30% off from Jan. 13 to 20)
- Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor: Soul Hackers (30% off from Jan. 13 to 20)

Downloaded Chibi-Robo last night! Already put 2 hours into the game. I love that the game is using the AR functions, and it seems to use them in the right way. The game as a whole is very fun (and funny too) and the gameplay is simple, yet smart and fun.
