Wii U Gets DLC for Injustice: Gods Among Us

When rumors began to circulate back in May that the Wii U version of Injustice: Gods Among Us would not receive the same downloadable content that its counterparts on PS3 and Xbox 360 did, many fans pointed to it as further proof of the Wii U’s struggles with third parties. Fortunately, those rumors turned out to be just that and, after a bit of a wait, the Wii U now has the same extra content available for download.

The new content breaks down as follows:

Characters – $4.99 each

• Batgirl
• Lobo
• Scorpion
• Zod

Modes – $2.99

• Zombie Mode (Turns every character in the game into a zombie)

Skins – Free

• Classic Ares
• Containment Suit Doomsday
• Flashpoint Batman
• Luchador Bane

Single Skins – $0.99 each

• Blackest Night Batman (Also available in Blackest Night #2 Pack)
• Man of Steel Superman

Skin Packs – $2.99 each

• Ame-Comi (Catwoman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn)
• Arkham City (Batman, Catwoman, Joker)
• Bad Girls (Catwoman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn)
• Blackest Night #1 (Superman, Flash, Doomsday)
• Blackest Night #2 (Batman, Hawkgirl, Aquaman)
• Earth-2 (Flash, Hawkgirl, Grundy)
• Killing Joke (three different looks for the Joker)
• Lockdown (Batman Beyond, Knightfall Bane and Prison Superman)

An important thing to note is that the Lockdown Skin Pack was previously only available on the PS3 and Xbox360 if players downloaded the mobile version of the game and linked the two versions via a WBID account. Wii U owners can actually skip this process entirely.
