It’s not a Pokémon game without a glitch or two, huh?
The newest glitch is the Lumiose City save glitch. It’s not prevalent in all cases of Pokémon X and Y, but in a decent amount of games. The glitch is, if you save in certain places around Lumiose City, your game automatically ends and the controls fail to work when you restart it.
Nintendo has come to the rescue, at least in terms of recognizing and offering advice while it works on updating the software to stop players from encountering this glitch in the future.
The advice is basically to avoid saving in the certain places in Lumiose City where the glitch occurs. Those places include both North and South Boulevard, and two of the alleyways– one leading to Bleu Plaza, the other to Vert Plaza. Pokémon Centers are still OK as well.
But, if you ask me, try to avoid saving there altogether for sake of your game.
