As America gets ready to welcome the 3DS and Wii U versions of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate next month, Japan is already gearing up for the release of Monster Hunter 4 sometime this summer. Even though we don’t even know whether or not Monster Hunter 4 will come to the US, we can at least enjoy the latest trailer and hope for the best.
This trailer seems to be really focused on showing off the massive scale of the new game as well as the greater diversity of environments, with a big emphasis on how climbing will play into traversing the world and fighting the beasts that inhabit it. And even if none of that excites you, this really does show the potential of 3DS just in terms of sheer processing power.

So, um… zombies? I like what Capcom is doing by fleshing out the existing world and creating more fluid movements and battle environments instead of trying to build from scratch, but have some skepticism about the storyline.
really huge monsters and colorful world, this is looking better than the previos mh games, it’s not my cup of tea but i hope it sells a lot in japan and make the 3ds even more popular there.
