It feels like it’s been a long time since Mother 3 star and Brawl veteran Lucas was announced as a DLC fighter for the Wii U and 3DS installments of Super Smash Bros., but this morning on Twitter, Nintendo finally announced when the psychic hero will be available to download!
Beginning at 8 AM Pacific Time on June 14, fans will be able to purchase Lucas in both 3DS and Wii U versions of the game. Nintendo hasn’t specified Lucas’s price in its announcement Tweet, but he’ll likely cost the same amount of money as the previous Smash Bros. DLC fighter, Mewtwo, who can be downloaded in each version for $3.99 (or a discounted $4.99 if purchased in both titles).
Not only that, but June 14 also marks the day that Splatoon-inspired outfits will be available to download for your Gunner Mii Fighters. Players can purchase Inkling Wigs and Outfits in either the 3DS or Wii U version for $0.75 (or $1.15 for both versions). A Squid Hat will also be available for all classes for the same price.

Well this pretty much confirms they’ll talk about a new DLC character(s) during E3.
I’m hoping for someone other than the “leaked” Ryu and Roy.
