No platforms have been specified, however.

The collector’s edition for Mighty No. 9 has finally been presented to backers and consumers alike. The collector’s edition comes after a successful Kickstarter campaign that reached nearly $4,000,000. While this edition was not a stretch goal or a promise for backers, it is more than acceptable for those who crave physical memorabilia to go alongside their games.

The signature edition includes a retail copy of the game, a 6.5-inch figurine with three interchangeable faces, and comes with a signature from creator Keji Inafune atop the box. However, the difference in price compared to the digital version may be staggering, costing $59.99.

While the signature edition has been formally announced, it has not been confirmed which platforms will receive this bundle.

Mighty No. 9 becomes available on September 15 in North America and September 18 around the world. The game will be released for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3.

Apparently Wii U won’t be getting the signature edition.

Personally, I’m not worked up about this. I don’t really see the value in that special edition, and am just happy that Wii U is getting a retail release at all.
