Heads up, Skylanders fans: the latest entry in your NFC critter series is coming this September! Skylanders SuperChargers brings a vehicle emphasis to the figure-collectible fold, as twenty new tiny vehicles can be purchased for your monsters to drive around in. These vehicles will contribute to the recurring “portal” feature, as this time they won’t be used to capture baddies but instead provide power-ups for your rides. Not only is every machine distinct, but the game even includes two player co-op for these new toys, as one player shoots while the other steers.
While all three Nintendo versions will launch in America on September 23, it has been confirmed the Wii version will be scaled back in scope and content in comparison to the Wii U and 3DS versions. For those who still haven’t made the jump, don’t worry, as the aforementioned portals and whatever you’ve accumulated within them can be brought into the current systems. A Starter Pack will also launch with the title that includes the Hot Streak, Sure Shot Stealth Elf, and Supercharger Spitfire.
