Atooi Is Teasing A Surprise For Next Week

Atooi is one of the stalwart third-party developers to have supported Nintendo over the years. The studio is responsible for great games like the Mutant Mudds series and metroidvania title Xeodrifter, and is currently hard at work on the upcoming platformer Hatch Tales. No matter how busy things may be, however, that’s not stopping Atooi from celebrating its fifth birthday!

As the Tweet from Atooi declares, fans can look forward to a special treat next week in honor of the anniversary. Atooi was founded on August 6 according to its website, so we’re going to assume that the news will likely drop on that day (which is a Thursday this year). What could the treat be? Well, fans are still waiting on a proper release date for the 3DS compilation game Atooi Collection, so it might be that, but honestly… we don’t know for sure!
