What’s old is new again!
Nintendo Switch Online is expanding once more with three new games to enjoy. This time around, fans are being treated to a trio of exceptional Game Boy games from back in the day.
- Mole Mania
- Revenge of the ‘Gator
- Avenging Spirit
Here’s the trailer showing off all three:
Mole Mania is a later Shigeru Miyamoto game starring the delightful Muddy Mole. He’s trying to rescue his wife and kids from the evil farmer Jinbe. Players dig in the dirt and underground, throwing, shoving, and pulling a big, black ball to solve puzzles and to defend against enemies. It’s a fun, cerebral puzzle game. Revenge of the ‘Gator is a pinball game developed by HAL. There are different objectives to complete, but the competent pinball physics are what make this one so fun. Finally, Avenging Spirit, which is the victim of terrible ’90s localization when it came to its box art. The tommy gun-wielding mob guy on the front is actually just part of the setup: the main character is killed and has to possess different enemies in the game to try and rescue his girlfriend. It’s a lot of fun and pretty creative.
Will you be playing any of these? All you need is an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription in order to give them a download!
