When Pokémon and McDonald’s team up, it usually leads to very cool things. Typically those things are Happy Meals, toys, and cards, a winning combination, to say the least. Just in time for the series’ 30th anniversary, The Pokémon Company International and McDonald’s have revealed that the two are once more combining forces and will return with Pokémon Happy Meals come November 5, 2026.

As was the case with previous releases, 15 total cards are expected to be included in the meals. It’s anyone’s guess as to which cards will be included, as the cards featured in the Happy Meal collaborations are usually reprints of older ones. They also tend to include confetti-style holos that are exclusive to these McDonald’s team-ups. In a twist, this year’s collaboration will let customers choose between a Pokemon Essential Handbook or a toy, which is rumored to be a card holder of some kind.
The collaboration will conclude on December 9, 2026.
