Atlus surprised JRPG fans everywhere today by revealing that four previously announced Persona games would be coming west over the next two years. One of the two Persona games that will be arriving this year is Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth for 3DS. Not only is this the only one of the four that is on a Nintendo system, this will be Persona’s first appearance on Nintendo hardware ever.
Persona Q is a mixes the Persona world with the gameplay of another one of Atlus’s popular RPG franchises, Etrian Odyssey. The characters (pulled from Persona 3 and 4) have been changed to match Etrian Odyssey’s art style, but will find themselves back in Persona 4’s world, battling their way through the game’s infamous Yasogami High. Each group of protagonists will have a different storyline to explore, and you will even meet two new characters, Rei and Zen.
I am a recent convert to the Persona fandom, as well as the Etrian Odyssey fandom, so I am doubly excited to get my hands on Persona Q sometime in fall. Are you a fan of either of these series? If so, are you looking forward to this spin-off? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

If I’m not mistaken, Yasogami High is from Persona 4. Great game by the way. I can’t wait for Persona Q and its awesome soundtrack.
Thanks for pointing that out! I’m not at all familiar with the Persona series, so that’s not something I would’ve caught on my own. I went in and fixed it. :)
