When Wii released in late 2006, it came packaged in most territories with a little game called Wii Sports. As a result, the influential title set the tone for the rest of the system’s lifespan, for better or worse. In Japan, however, the title was sold separately, and the system did not come with a pack-in title at all. Interestingly enough, Japan will be the first territory to offer the updated version of the title, Wii Sports Club, as a bundle with Wii U.
The bundle includes the pre-installed game, a white, 32 GB Wii U console, and a matching white Wii Remote. The system will not, however, include the boxing and baseball minigames from the first Wii Sports title, as neither of these games has received a Wii U update at this time.
Do you think Nintendo should bring this bundle to other territories? As always, let us know what you think in the comments below!
