Have you ever wanted to explore the cosmos, but didn’t have the money to, you know, purchase a spacecraft? Then you’re in luck, because Nifflas (developer of Knytt Underground and NightSky) and KnapNok (Spin the Bottle: Bumpie’s Party) will be bringing the excitement of space travel to the budget-conscious with their new collaborative Wii U eShop title, Affordable Space Adventures!
According to KnapNok, Affordable Space Adventures will combine atmospheric visuals with unique stealth-based puzzles to create a game that “truly utilizes the potential of the Wii U hardware.” Players will take control of a small spaceship, guiding it through haunting environments while trying to avoid being seen by the various defense systems scattered about the planet.
Along with that information, KnapNok has also released the first trailer for Affordable Space Adventures, which you can watch below.
Affordable Space Adventures is slated to launch in the Wii U eShop this fall.

Very atmospheric, but the title suggests something humorous. I’m interested to see how that works. I liked the interview on Gamasutra where they scoffed at being asked why they chose Wii U; they sounded genuinely excited to develop for it.
