Still playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf? Need an easier way to keep track of its holidays? We’ve got you covered. At the beginning of every month, we’ll be posting a handy list of all the special events going on in the game, so you’ll never miss a chance to snag some rare items. What events will be going on this month?

September 1 – Labor Day

Take a well-deserved break from your mayoral duties on Labor Day. Visit Isabelle at your town’s event plaza to receive a picnic basket– just the thing you need to enjoy the last few days of summer!

September 9 – Autumn Moon

Celebrate the arrival of the harvest season. Visit Isabelle at the event plaza to receive a wheat bundle, and be sure to take in the splendor of the beautiful full moon!

September 20 – Bug Off

If you missed your chance to snag a bug trophy during the summer, don’t worry– the next Bug Off will be held on September 20. Take the bugs you catch over to the event plaza to have them evaluated by Nat, the event coordinator, who will give you a piece of bug-themed furniture if you can exceed a certain point total. Maintain the lead by the end of the day and you’ll also be awarded a gold bug trophy!
