Still playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf? Need an easier way to keep track of its holidays? We’ve got you covered. At the beginning of every month, we’ll be posting a handy list of all the special events going on in the game, so you’ll never miss a chance to snag some rare items. What events will be going on this month?

February 2 – Groundhog Day

Tired of the cold and snow? Today’s your chance to find out if spring will arrive early this year, or if you can expect a few more weeks of winter to grip your town. Head over to the event plaza where Isabelle will give you a special Resetti model, and be sure to keep an eye on the sky– if it’s cloudy, there’ll be an early spring this year!

February 8 – Fishing Tourney

If you missed your chance to snag a fishing trophy last month, don’t worry– the second fishing tourney of the year will take place on the second Saturday in February. Take your best catch over to the event plaza to have it evaluated by Chip, the hungry event coordinator, who will give you a piece of fish-themed furniture if you can exceed a certain point total. Maintain the lead by the end of the day and you’ll also be awarded a gold fishing trophy!

February 14 – Valentine’s Day

Show your villagers how much they mean to you by sending them a heartfelt Valentine’s card. You might even get one containing a special chocolate heart in return! And who knows, maybe Isabelle will send you a special gift too!
