Update: In a disappointing turn of events, it looks like Nintendo is only unveiling the Virtual Console’s launch lineup tomorrow. There’s still no word on when the full service will be rolled out for Wii U.
Original Story: In a bit of good news, Nintendo of America has announced via its Facebook page that the Virtual Console will finally be making its Wii U debut this Tuesday. While exactly what games will be making their Wii U debut tomorrow remains to be seen, here is a run-down of all the games announced so far:
NES:
- Balloon Fight
- Donkey Kong Jr.
- Excitebike
- Kirby’s Adventure
- Punch-Out!!
- Ice Climber
- Super Mario Bros. 2
- Mario Bros.
- Yoshi
- Mega Man 1
- Wrecking Crew
- Yoshi’s Cookie
SNES:
- F-Zero
- Super Mario World
- Kirby’s Dream Course
- Kirby’s Dream Land 3
- Kirby Super Star
- Super Metroid
- EarthBound

You know, I even thought about that, that it would only be a list, but figured, “nah, why do that to us?” No biggee I suppose. I’ve got a majority of those I can play on the original systems.
Yeah, I was a little disappointed to see this was just an announcement of an announcement, but it’s not too big of a deal. I still have way too many other games I need to play before the Virtual Console launches!
