Team Colorblind announced at this year’s Game Developers Conference that its strategy brawler Aztez will be coming to the Wii U eShop, alongside a wealth of other systems. Aztez is one part sidescrolling fighter, one part empire builder, all cast in a beautiful (and brutal) black and white artstyle. It is very reminiscent of games like MadWorld, and even more so The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai. No mention of a release date for Aztez, but hopefully we see it sometime this year.
I haven’t seen too much about Aztez, but I am a big fan of sidescrolling brawlers, and this is the first one I’ve ever heard of one having strategic elements as well. I’m excited to see how that turns out. What about you, are you interested in Aztez? Let us know in the comments below!
