Last May, before Splatoon became a smash, system-selling hit, Nintendo released an online demo for the title. The “Global Testfire,” as Nintendo dubbed it, gave fans a chance to try out the title’s online multiplayer before it released in stores and on the eShop. Starting this weekend, the Testfire will return globally, giving unconverted Wii U owners another chance to try before they buy. The demo will be active in North America from Saturday, August 22 through Friday, August 28. The demo will only be playable between 3 PM PT and 5 PM PT, however.
For fans that have already picked up Splatoon, Nintendo also debuted a new trailer for the game’s latest major update. The trailer shows off some of the new weapons, clothing and modes recently added to the game. We’ve mirrored the video below!
