Remember those Donkey Kong and Bowser Skylander figures from last month’s E3? It looks like they’re getting a “dark” makeover edition, dubbed “Dark Turbo Charge Donkey Kong” and “Dark Hammer Slam Bowser.” These dark versions also come bundled, respectively, with their special vehicles: the “Dark Barrel Blaster” and the “Dark Clown Cruiser.” Of course, given the Nintendo license, these figures will be exclusive only to the Wii and Wii U versions of Skylanders SuperChargers.
While these aren’t exactly Amiibo, it wouldn’t be a surprise if these dark versions went up for high prices on eBay. Do these figures cross over with your Amiibo-hunting interests? Let us know in the comments!
