Last week, the spiritual successor to Eternal Darkness, Shadow of the Eternals, fell short of its $750,000 Kickstarter goal. But despite making only under half of the goal that Precursor Games had in mind, the studio is still looking to explore over avenues of funding.
Shadow of the Eternals was previously slated for an October 2014 release, but it looks like it could take quite a while longer than that because of this setback, which is the second time the project failed to meet its Kickstarter goal. The Order of the Unseen forum, however, will still be open for a few more weeks, and the Precursor Community Forums will still have discussions of the game as well.
We’ll have to see exactly how this pans out.
