WayForward Technologies, the studio behind Shantae, Mighty Switch Force, and, most recently, DuckTales Remastered (which our own Marc Deschamps adored), announced via its official web site that it will be launching a “major” Kickstarter campaign next month.
There are currently no details on what project the Kickstarter campaign will be for, but according to the studio, it’s going to be “big.” Given WayForward’s history with Nintendo, it’s safe to say that, whatever it is, the project will land in some form on a Nintendo console, but that remains to be seen.
According to the countdown clock on the studio’s homepage, the Kickstarter campaign is set to go live on September 4. What do you think the studio’s Kickstarter project will be? Share your thoughts with us in the comments!
