At last the day is here. At midnight tonight the two biggest Nintendo games of the year, Super Mario 3D World and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, will finally arrive. You should definitely pick up both of these games, but don’t let them distract you from this week’s other offerings!

As far as retail downloads go, the aforementioned Super Mario 3D World and Link Between Worlds will both be available tonight at midnight for $59.99 and $39.99, respectively. Also arriving on the retail front is Mario Party: Island Tour for the 3DS. For only $39.99 you and up to three friends can all play the game using download play. That’s only $10 a person! The savings!

Releasing on the Wii U Virtual Console this week is Brawl Brothers, a 16 bit era beat ’em up that can be yours for $7.99. On your 3DS you will be able to pick up City Connection for $4.99.

Three new games will also be hitting each of the eShops this week. On 3DS, Jewel Match 3 is a match three puzzle game ($6.99), Ohno Odyssey is a puzzle platformer ($5.99), and finally Christmas Wonderland 3 is a holiday puzzler ($7.99). On Wii U, Coaster Crazy Deluxe is a roller coaster sim ($9.99), Mysterious Cities of Gold: Secret Paths is an adventure game based on a foreign TV show ($14.99), and EDGE is a smartphone port of a puzzle platformer ($3.99). Also notable on the Wii U and 3DS eShops this week is a sale on Mega Man 1-4, all of which have been discounted $1.50 off their normal prices.

Finally there is new DLC for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies. It will cost you $5.99 and serves as a prequel for the main game. There is also a new DSi game, a puzzle game by the name of Hands On! Tangrams that will cost you 500 eShop points.

Whew, that’s a lot of games! I’ll undoubtedly be playing a ton of 3D World and Link Between Worlds this weekend (maybe on a brand new Zelda 3DS!), but a lot of these other titles are tempting as well, especially Mega Man 2. Are you planning on picking up any of these games? Let us know in the comments below!

Mysterious Cities of Gold: Secret Paths looked kind of cool from the trailer… but having never seen the show it’s based on makes it less appealing.

Strong chance I’m going to dip in to some Mega Man action for my 3DS due to the sale this week. Playing 2 and 3 on the go would be a lot of fun.
