There’s going to be a new entry in Nintendo’s Fossil Fighters series for 3DS in 2014, according to Japanese website GamersHour. You will be able to play as a male or female, and it’s going to have improved visuals. That’s all we know right now, seriously.
The original Fossil Fighters released in 2009 for the Nintendo DS. It was a Pokémonish sort of game where the hero dug up bones, reanimated them and battled it out with dinosaurs. A sequel, Fossil Fighters: Champions, followed in 2011 for DS as well. That would make this alleged 3DS the third entry in this cretaceous series. Modern critics have called the games Jurassic classics, no bones about it. For dino fans the games are tops. Triceratops. Dinosaurs.
