This past summer, Nintendo of Europe announced that Square Enix’s anticipated 3DS RPG, Bravely Default: Flying Fairy, would be launching in the region with the new title Bravely Default: Where the Fairy Flies. Curiously enough, that seems to not be the case anymore.
Following in Nintendo of America’s footsteps, it looks like Bravely Default will be dropping its subtitle completely when it hits Europe later this year. Fans will remember that NOA announced Bravely Default’s North American release date during last week’s Nintendo Direct broadcast, and in the process confirmed that the game would be arriving sans its subtitle. There’s no telling why NOE decided to follow suit, but, personally, I can’t help but feel Bravely Default’s title seems a bit…plain now.
Bravely Default launches in Europe on December 6. The game will arrive in North America next year on February 7.
What do you think of Bravely Default’s new title? Do you wish it retained its European subtitle? Let us know in the comments!
