Another Thursday has arrived, and with it comes a new slew of Nintendo titles for download today and later this week!
Today, Wii U Virtual Console sees the release of NES classic Donkey Kong 3. For $4.99 you can experience the debut of Nintendo’s infamous exterminator, Stanley the Bugman. Wii U has a lighter load of releases this week, but it’s worth noting that the excellent BIT.TRIP Presents Runner 2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien is on sale for $9.99 from October 1 to October 7, a whole five dollar drop from its normal price of $14.99.
Moving on to 3DS, the prolific handheld sees another week of multiple releases. The hotly anticipated Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl and Rune Factory 4 both release for sale on October 1 for $39.99 each. Horse-raising sim Let’s Ride: Best in the Breed 3D trots to the eShop today, along with pet-sim Paws & Claws: Pampered Pets Resort 3D, each for $19.99. Also hitting eShop are arcade-fishing title Carps & Dragons for $4.99, Family Table Tennis 3D for $4.99, and Mystery Murders: The Sleeping Palace for $7.99. Wrapping a busy week for 3DS, the eShop also sees a price reduction for the exceptional Shin Megami Tensei IV, dropping from $49.99 to $39.99 from today to October 14.
Like last week, DSiWare also gets a little love in the form of another new release, this time the space-shooter Astro for 300 points.
