If you’re still disappointed by the closure of Camp Hyrule, Nintendo’s annual online camp, the Big N has announced a brand new summer event that should hopefully fill its void: Camp Miiverse!
For the next several weeks, Nintendo will be posting special game-related challenges in the Camp Miiverse community. To participate, simply play that day’s game and post a screenshot of your achievement in its community thread. Results of the challenge will be announced the following day. Events will be posted on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and will generally run for a single day (though in the case of Friday events, will run through the weekend).
The first Camp Hyrule challenge is to hit a home run in Wii Sports Club: Baseball. To participate, take a screenshot of your best home run and post it in the Wii Sports Club community with either the tags “Team Mario” or “Team Zelda.” Players have until 11:59 PM Pacific Time on Sunday, July 20, to enter the competition.
