Although Nintendo Switch 2 is very close to the April 2 Direct that will be showcasing the new system, the original is still very much here and thriving. While we’ve had a steady flow of releases since January, including the just-released Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, fans are likely wondering what else will be coming out for Switch for the rest of the year. Well, it seems that fans will finally be getting a better sense of the Nintendo Switch 2025 release calendar, as Nintendo Direct is set to air.
The announcement was made via Nintendo’s official X account:
Tune in tomorrow, March 27th, at 7 a.m. PT for a livestreamed #NintendoDirect, featuring around 30 minutes of upcoming games for Nintendo Switch. There will be no updates about Nintendo Switch 2 during this presentation.

30 minutes of reveals await fans, but Nintendo is keen to point out that “there will be no updates about Nintendo Switch 2 during this presentation.” Again, everyone will just have to wait until April 2 (which is next week, so not all that far away) fo. The fun kicks off at 7 AM PST, so be sure to have your Alarmo set and your eyes and ears ready!
