Nintendo Announces Plans for E3 2015

Includes another Digital Event and the unexpected return of the Nintendo World Championships!

In typical Nintendo fashion, we’ve just gotten an announcement video for the company’s plans at this year’s E3! In this hilarious video featuring many classic Nintendo games, Reggie trains for the Nintendo World Championships, which are returning this summer after 25 years!

The New NWC 2015 is Saturday June 14 in Los Angeles. Nintendo’s E3 presence this year will once again be in the form of the Digital Event instead of a traditional press conference. The Digital Event will be broadcast Tuesday June 16 at 9AM PT, followed by a live presentation from the Treehouse on the E3 show floor. Nintendo Access at Best Buy will also be making a return, with Mario Maker playable at store locations. Check out the video below!

UPDATE: Nintendo’s E3 Website has updated with information about the events!

The Nintendo World Championships will put Nintendo fans head-to-head in gaming challenges for the world to see. Qualifying competitions are coming May 30, with more details to follow. The Nintendo Access event at Best Buy featuring Mario Maker will be happening on June 17 and June 20, with locations to be announced.
