Not long ago it was announced that Scribblenauts Unlimited will feature a number of major Nintendo characters. Well, Mario, Zelda et al will be joined by some more characters that are bound to get your geek juices flowing and can only serve to heighten interest in a game that Nintendojo is already very excited about.
5th Cell have released screenshots of the Wii U version of the game on their Facebook page, which show just how diverse the game’s object creator may be. The success of the game will surely hinge on the amount of freedom players are granted to concoct their own bizarre creations and this news certainly points to the fact that we will be able to dream up a great number of variations.
So far they have given us a tantalising glimpse at Batman and The Joker, some Mortal Kombat characters and all members of Mystery Inc. from Scooby Doo. I know that many of you have always dreamed of creating your very own Scribblenauts Shaggy. Well here is your chance!

Now, it should be mentioned that all of these characters are owned by Warner Bros., who are conveniently also publishing Maxwell’s next adventure. How easy it will be to create non-Warner characters remains to be seen. Will 5th Cell allow us to create a vampire or Zombie Batman? I for one can’t wait to find out!
