After Microsoft’s successor to the Xbox 360, the Xbox One, was revealed just a couple of days ago to, as some may summarize, lukewarm reception, it appears that the Wii U has been granted a boost in sales. Whether or not this is pure coincidence or if the Xbox One’s conference had an impact on potential buyers is up for speculation, but what is set in stone is this: Wii U got a 386% increase in Amazon UK sales after the conference.
That’s quite a boost in quite a coincidental time period. Nintendo looks to push this momentum even further with its upcoming E3 Nintendo direct in a couple of weeks. Could the tides finally be turning for Wii U? You decide! Sound off in the comments below!

I’m getting tired of saying, “I told you so.”
Whether this is correlation or causation, it’s pretty interesting. I suppose someone waiting to see who’s got the most interesting console for this next generation has their information now.
We’ve got a sleek gamer’s console with traditional, motion, and touch controls, and then we’ve got two keyboardless PCs that want you to mount cameras on your TV and make an ass of yourself by flailing and/or talking at them. ;^)
(Oh, that’s a bit much. Neither machine is without appeal, they just don’t appeal to me personally.)
