In a financial results Q&A, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata talked about one of his biggest goals that he hopes to achieve while CEO of Nintendo of America. That goal is to keep the lines of communication open between the North American and Japanese branches of Nintendo so that there’ll be a lot more harmony.
Iwata, who announced last week that he will be taking over as Nintendo of America’s CEO, stated that he hoped that he would be able to keep the lines open so that there’s no only more harmony within the marketing and development of games, but also so that we get word on them a lot more efficiently. In other words, we can find out much sooner what’s coming out and perhaps even get release dates in a more timely fashion.
Once the changes go into effect, we shall see just how well this goal will be achieved.
