So, when games come out, people buy them. Then, the number of games that got sold are counted, and sometimes they’re put up in charts. After that, we look at the charts and gawk at them. Look, more sales charts!
The charts we’re looking at now are UK sales charts from last week, and the sales figures for LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins aren’t too shabby. The new LEGO game came out in 8th place, not a bad spot at all for a 3DS game that has only been out in the UK for a little over 3 days.
Compare this to LEGO City Undercover for Wii U. It debuted at number 12 on the UK charts, and then fell below 40 shortly after. Of course, more people own a 3DS than Wii U, so there’s that. However, the UK charts this week are also kind to other 3DS games, with Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon in 10th place and Fire Emblem Awakening in 13th. Viva la 3DS!
