In case you’ve forgotten, there is yet another Monster Hunter game coming out very soon. It’s Monster Hunter 4, the true successor to Tri, and it’s coming out on September 14, 2013– only in Japan. Still, that doesn’t mean that Western MH fans can’t still enjoy all the pre-release hype. Capcom recently had a show featuring tons of footage from Monster Hunter 4. The video is over 30 minutes long, and includes at least 15 minutes of gaming footage, if not more. It’s all in Japanese with no subtitles, but the game footage should be able to speak for itself.
There’s currently no plans for a Monster Hunter 4 release outside of Japan, but given the success of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and the previous games, it’s hard to imagine there won’t be. It should most likely be localized by the end of 2014.
