Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival has an interesting little Easter egg for fans of the series. In the main games in the franchise, the two owls who run the museum, Blathers and Celeste, are true to their nature and spend their days fast asleep, waiting for night to wake up. Amiibo Festival pays homage to this little bit of detail.
Those who use an Amiibo of either character as time passes from day to night in the game, their avatars behave like the nocturnal birds they are. During the day, both characters will be slumped over, asleep until they are awoken for their turn, after which they will go right back to sleep. During the night, they remain wide awake.

While this might not be Earth shattering news, it is definitely another nice example of Nintendo’s attention to detail, and it can’t help but make me wonder if, as the Animal Crossing Amiibo lineup expands, more unique traits be bestowed upon other characters.
