While EarthBound‘s surprise release may have been the highlight of today’s Nintendo Direct Mini, that wasn’t the only noteworthy thing to come out of the broadcast; it also gave fans another look at Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, the fourth installment in the Mario & Luigi RPG series.
The game, which launches in North America on August 11, will take the bros. to Pi’illo Island, where Princess Peach, as per usual, is abducted by a mysterious foe and taken to the dream world, which Mario will have to enter through Luigi’s dreams. It’s certainly a strange premise, and judging by the trailer below, the game only gets stranger from there. Take a look for yourself!
This game looks like it’s going to be on par with Inside Story; fingers crossed! If nothing else, the graphics are beautiful.
